What better place is there than Tarzo for a hike? An area just waiting to be discovered with a peaceful, gentle walk surrounded by nature, through the woods, pastures and meadows of the Pre-Alps of Treviso, passing through characteristic villages. You can admire the hills of Prosecco, the breathtaking views of the Vallata (valley) and even meet some local wild animals.

In addition to being a leg of the renowned “München Venedig”(Munich-Venice) route covering 521 km, with its many groomed, signposted and easily to follow trails, the Tarzo area offers the opportunity to follow routes that are suitable for everyone, for example:

1051A - FROM TARZO TO COL DI STELLA
Type: An ideal route for walks.
Length: 3 Km.
Difference in altitude: 80 m.
Average time required: 1 hour.
Difficulty: Easy.
Period: All year round.
Clothing required: Comfortable and sporty fit, hiking boots.

From the village of Tarzo, take the road to Case Casagrande at an altitude of 204 metres and head towards Col di Stella, situated at 355 metres in altitude, where it meets route 1050.

1050A - FROM CASE ROSSI TO THE MOLINETTO DELLA CRODA (ANCIENT MILL)
Type: An ideal route for walks.
Length: 1,7 Km.
Difference in altitude: 30 m.
Average time required: 30 minutes.
Difficulty: Easy.
Period: All year round.
Clothing required: Comfortable and sporty fit, hiking boots.

From the main path, starting at Case Rossi, a short detour leads you to the attractive Molinetto della Croda, recently restructured and open to tourists, in the municipality of Refrontolo.

1050B - FROM MONDRAGON TO VALLANDRUI

Average time required: 2 hours and 30 minutes.

From Case Merlin, in the locality of Mondragon, continue in a north-east direction to the head of the Vallandrui, along its northern watershed.

1051 - FROM NOGAROLO TO ZUEL DI QUA

Length: 9 Km.
Difference in altitude: 100 m.
Average time required: 4 hours.
Difficulty: Easy.
Period: All year round.

From the Case, head towards Nogarolo and then to the centre of Tarzo. The route is very scenic and goes through the centre of Tarzo along Vicolo Diaz, and up to the small church of San Pietro. Passing through the Val Spinosa, you get to Case Polsa and then descend to the Rio Parè riverbed, arriving first at Case Parè and then in the village of Arfanta. From here, continue along a cart track, which, higher up, follows the asphalt road that leads to Rolle. When you get to the fork in the road to Zuel di Là, go on to Fontanafredda along the left side of the Val di Mole. The route ends at the village of Zuel di Qua.

1050 - FROM PERDONANZE TO COSTA DI LÀ

Length: 13 Km.
Difference in altitude: 70 m.
Average time required: 5 hours.
Difficulty: Easy.
Period: All year round.

The route begins at Perdonanze and, after Case Frassinelli, leaves Monte Stella and takes you to below Monte Castello. From here, you go along the bank of the River Cervano, through the villages of Santa Teresa and Sant' Antonio, and then turn right at the Maset bridge. Then go up the left bank of the Rio Ricalz to an altitude of 148 metres, and continue to Case Merlin in Mondragon. When you get to the Rio Lierza riverbed, at the confluence with the Rio Rosada, near the Case Rossi, you can go along a cart track. After crossing a bridge, you get to a farmhouse and go up the Costa di Là. The asphalt road takes you to a crossroads, the end of the route.

1052 – FROM SELVE TO FRATTE AND CASE TESON

Average time required: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Difficulty: Easy.

The route starts in the locality of Selve and goes around the bottom of the Monte Baldo ridge, also known as "Le Prese". In Nogarolo, go straight along the road to Revine as far as Fornaci Tomasi. Turn left at the first crossroads, and then at the next crossroads take the road on the right that leads to the Bar Riviera. Go along the bank of Lake Santa Maria as far as the centre of Colmaggiore, where you follow a stretch of the route along the bank of Lake Lago. When you get to Borgo di Fratta, go along the Tajada canal, which is the source of the River Soligo. At Soller, you get to a dirt track that goes up to Case Teson, where the route ends.
